whatta treat!

By nate  //  life  //  3 Comments

The things we miss most about the United States are not air conditioning, Tex-Mex, carpet, sidewalks or TV. Hands down, what we miss most is our friends and family. In the great state of Texas, there is a community group made of the best folks you could ever want to meet and live out the love of Christ with. We miss those folks like crazy…seriously…really bad. But, today, we got a little DVD that took us to church (including the drive), took us to community group, took us to the service and even took us to Joe T. Garcia’s afterward.

I really cannot explain how important these folks are to making us who we are and giving us the support we need to do what we are doing. I thank God so much for them and feel so blessed to have them in our lives.

(We love you guys!)

Here’s some excerpts from the feature, which certainly is worthy of some sort of nomination at Sundance or Cannes or somewhere.

ICC to announce on March 4 its decision on arrest warrant for Sudan’s Bashir

BREAKING NEWS – ICC to announce on March 4 its decision on arrest warrant for Sudan’s Bashir.

Please be praying this week as the decision of the ICC and the reaction of the Sudanese government could cause a major shift in the current Peace arrangement and relative stability in southern Sudan.

The fighting in Malakal this week may be an indicator of how the north will respond to an unfavorable verdict from the Hague.

broken camera

By nate  //  life  //  Comments Off

Polite notice:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we here at ng*k are currently operating in a camera-less configuration after our trusty digital Elph died a slow and painful death in Gatab. This is why the pictures have been sparse lately. We hope to remedy that soon by maybe posting some video instead as we work on procuring another digital camera. Thanks for your patience in this difficult time.
