faith: a ‘primary’ issue
An interesting thing about the presidential primaries this time around (beside the fact there is no clear front-runner on either side) is the fact that the candidate’s faith and stance on ‘morality issues’ have been and will continue to be focal points.
Americans have a diverse selection of candidates as it pertains to their beliefs. It is interesting to read news articles and blogs as voters struggle over how much weight to put on the core beliefs of a person, as opposed to their foreign policy or economic ideas. read more

groundhog day.
Liam turned 3 months old this morning! Its crazy how fast it has gone. He is doing great, and for the past week has been sleeping for up to 8 hours in a row at night! The best way I can describe life with an infant is that it is just like the movie “groundhog day”. We have settled into a rhythm (or schedule) which means every day is exactly like the day before. He wakes up at 6, eats, goes back to bed, wakes up at 8, eats, plays until 9:15, naps until 11, eats…etc. I am pretty sure the question I have asked the most for the past 3 months is “what day is it?” But, the schedule keeps him happy, which keeps us happy, so it is all good. We have really enjoyed every day we have had with this sweet little guy, and as he gets more vocal, interactive and mobile it gets more fun by the day!
