the power of prayer

I (nate) just wanted to throw out a request for a little extra prayer this month. We have alot of things up in the air that need to be placed into order. I trust God will make the path clear, and I would really appreciate your prayer to that end.

I was reminded of the power of prayer by listening to the presenation of one of our church’s missionaries last weekend. They just finished an extremely difficult term. They face spiritual, emotional, interpersonal and even physical difficulties. He said, “if it wasn’t for your prayers, I would be curled up somewhere in the fetal position right now.” That both encouraged me and frightened me. I know God is faithful through whatever happens. I also see the necessity of having a support team that fervently prays.

Please consider praying for Ginna and I even now as we continue to prepare spiritually, mentally, vocationally and even physically for this opportunity God has given us. Thanks, in advance, for those who will “carry us.”
